issue 003 🗞️ Workflows Gallery Launch, Zap Connect, and Auto-Send Invoices
yoooooooo 'sup!
NGL, most of the SaaS world was pretty quiet this week — I guess we can’t always be launching… well some of us anyway, because here at _systms™, A LOT happened!
Going to take a minute to shout a few things out;
1 — the website got a little refresh (shoutout to our homie Andrew Ellis for animating the iconic chaos squiggle),
2 — the Workflows Gallery is live! You can find free and (soon) paid items to grab for your business, and lastly,
3 — tech & tactics is officially part of the 🐝 Hiiv! You can find all past issues here. Tell your friends to sub ✌🏼
That’s it! Have a cool tech find or want to share something cool you’ve built? Smash that reply button.

ZapConnect 2024 was last Thursday! Rewatch all of the sessions on demand. Also shoutout to Phil Larkin (NoCodeOps acquired by Zapier) for highlighting my workflow documentation for Lizzie’s onboarding process!
Circleback.ai updated workflows to auto-send meetings!
You are now able to use workflows to automatically share meetings with your whole team or only specific members — this is great for department calls.
Heads up! For team plans, automatic sharing has been removed from account settings, and will need to be re-setup.
I’m not afraid to admit that this week I needed to fix a major problem in my own business — sending invoices. For years, it’s never been an issue to sit down at the beginning of the month and send out whatever’s due. Except August and September were my busiest months and four invoices sat untouched for weeks.
The moral of the story is, review your processes, because all it takes is one incident to go, “hmmm, maybe that needs a little attention.”
To fix this, I built this workflow that connects my Notion Invoices database with Stripe to auto-create and send invoices two weeks before they’re due. You can steal it too and avoid a negative bank account.
Last week I soft-launched a super-secret, internal project I’ve been working on — my AI-powered Account Executive, Lizzie. Lizzie was built on Zapier, and handles every aspect of project onboarding (internal and client facing).
That's it for this week!
